The Dundee Steel Drum Band was formed in the late ‘70s by then-Music Director Ronald K. Miller. Participants are students from grades 7 through 12. Throughout the bands’ history, the group has traveled and performed throughout Europe and the United States, delighting audiences everywhere. Nothing says summer like a steel drum band on the lake at sunset. Don your Caribbean Joe shirt, wide brimmed straw hat and prepare to sing, sway and dance to this unique style of music from the West Indies. The band will perform a mix of favorite songs; a little reggae, a little calypso and maybe some Bob Marley. No better way to get a taste of paradise. The concert will be held at the Village of Aurora park on the lakeshore behind the post office. Join the fun!
