Embers Low Brass Trio

Embers Low Brass Trio will perform at the Morgan Opera House Saturday, December 7 at 3 PM  as part of the Christmas in Aurora celebration. A unique  combination of instruments; trombone, tuba and euphonium, they will play rollicking and somber tunes of the season, including a bit of jazz.

The trio is comprised of: Gavin Anderson, trombonist, who believes in sharing his musical talent through his teaching and playing. He is currently in his senior year at Ithaca College completing a BM in Music Education. Keith Alcius is an active freelance tuba player based in Binghamton, NY. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Tuba Performance from Baldwin Wallace University and a Master of Music in Tuba Performance from New England Conservatory and performs classical to jazz music. Andrew Herrick is a senior at Ithaca College, where he studies euphonium performance. He has participated in many ensembles both locally and internationally.

The Morgan Opera House is located above the Aurora Free Library at 370 Main Street, Aurora NY. The handicapped accessible entrance is from Cherry Ave. The stair chair is in the lobby. The performance is free but monetary donations to the King Ferry Food Pantry are appreciated.
