A very ambitious and dedicated group of students from Southern Cayuga Central School have taken on the monumental task of adapting Shakespeare’s Hamlet and will perform this newest version of the classic drama at the Morgan Opera House June 16 & 17 at 7 pm.  A minimalist stage set allows the audience to focus on the action and plot and come to a new appreciation of the work as interpreted by a young “Bard Society”. These aspiring actors have chosen to tackle one of the most demanding scripts in the theatrical canon , have worked tirelessly for months and are now ready to present their interpretation to the Opera House audience.  Please join us in supporting their efforts by attending one of the evening performances. The event is free, but donations will be accepted.
