About Morgan Opera House
Welcome! The intimately-sized Morgan Opera House is a restored Victorian gem featuring an original raked stage with pressed tin proscenium, Morgan Opera House Interior leaded glass windows, original seating, splendidly crafted woodwork and superb acoustics. Located on the second floor of the Tudor style Aurora Free Library building, the theater is operated by a dedicated group of community volunteers. Performances are selected to appeal to a wide range of audience tastes and are priced with families in mind.

Over one hundred years ago, Louise Morgan Zabriskie funded construction of the Tudor Revival building housing the theatre and the Aurora Free Library to serve as a community focal point.

A new look is coming! The Morgan Opera House plans to launch a redesigned web site later this spring which will feature exciting events and performances planned for the summer and fall. Until then, to stay current on the latest developments, ‘like’ us on Facebook. Also, we have retired the full season brochure and will mail postcard announcements for up-coming performances and events. Anyone wishing to receive email reminders should send us a message at morganopera@yahoo.com to join our growing list of loyal audience members, supporters and fans.

All of us at the Morgan Opera House hope that you will find many occasions to join us this season. We look forward to welcoming you in person.
